Ice skating in Canmore is a great activity for the family!
The Canmore Pond is located just two blocks off of Main Street in downtown Canmore.
You can even find heated gazebos at the Pond which are perfect for lacing up or warming up after a fun ice skating session or hockey game.
Grotto Canyon Ice Walk

Canmore Winter Carnival, February 1-10
Every February, the community of Canmore gets together for the annual Canmore Winter Carnival. Spread over two weeks, residents and visitors alike can enjoy a variety of festivities including ice carving competitions, ice skating, street hockey, log sawing competitions, dog parade and art crawl.

World Cup Biathlon, February 7-10
Watch as over 200 of the world’s best biathlon athletes compete on one of the stops of the World Cup Circuit. Athletes will compete in Individual, Relay and Mass races over the three days at the Canmore Nordic Centre. Check out full event details here.
